For my first blog on this website, allow me introduce to you one of the most important persons in my life — Gideon, my husband.  Four years ago today, we went on our first date together. We had breakfast at a not-so-awesome little diner with not-so-good coffee. It was fun and awkward all at the same time, and I even turned down his suggestions of activities to prolong our date. However unromantic our first date was, I do remember how I was drawn to his genuine and big heart.  Little did I know that morning that this would be the person I would want to and vow to spend my life with as long as we both shall live.

He is also one of my favorite subjects to capture. Perhaps because he’s always there or usually the only one there. Or perhaps he’s so dynamic and interesting that there is never a dull moment. Either way, here are some of the moments I’ve captured of him, most of them in his organic state of doing things he loves (or doesn’t love) with little to no directions in poses.

Oh, also, one thing he loves to do is yawn when I take pictures of him. I hope I’m not THAT boring.. *yawn*

I am so grateful to able to spend my life with this guy! <3
